Request Funding
Northampton County Education Foundation provides funds to support projects and activities that improve education for students in Northampton County Public Schools. We have several programs to support such requests for funding:
The intent of our Fund-A-Project program is to promote collaboration between schools and community partners and encourages schools to focus on innovative approaches that provide well-rounded learning experiences. Here, teacher requests for funds are presented to the public for financial support via our website. NCEF promotes these projects on social media and monitors their values.
Classroom Initiative Grants are designed to encourage and facilitate new approaches designed to reshape, enhance and improve education. The initiative could have various objectives, e.g.:
Engage community and/or increase parent involvement in annual goals of school
Increase academic achievement of ALL students with focus given to high-risk or academically challenged students
Provide a safe, healthy, and well-disciplined learning environment for all students
Special Events/Activities Grants are designed to fund activities that enhance student learning, but go beyond classroom instruction such as:
Field trips
Guest speakers
Enrichment activities
To participate, just fill out our request for funding. The NCEF funding board will review your request and discuss it with the NCPS Central Office. If your request is approved, NCEF will decide to provide a Grant or to present the request as a Fund-A-Project.
We request submission of funding applications at least TWO WEEKS before funds are required to underwrite the proposed activity.
